McKee and Cully on target as Rangers take the points at Davidson Park. Portavogie Rangers secured a deserved 2–0 victory over Ballywalter Rec at Davidson Park on Thursday evening, with second-half goals from Alfie McKee and Jay Cully sealing the points.

Portavogie Rangers began their Division 1C campaign with a 3–1 defeat away to Suffolk at Suffolk Park, Belfast. David Rutherford’s first-half penalty gave Rangers hope after the hosts had established an early two-goal advantage, but a third Suffolk goal after the interval secured the points.

Portavogie Rangers will begin their 2026/27 All Sport Insurance Ireland Border Regiment Cup campaign with an away tie against Larne Tech OB. The first-round fixture will be played at Dennis Harvey Park on Saturday, 22 August 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 1pm.

The new league campaign begins with two consecutive away matches, starting with a trip to Suffolk on Saturday the 1st of August. We then travel to face Ballywalter Rec on Thursday the 6th of August. Our first home match will take place on Saturday 8th of August, when Ballynahinch United visit New Harbour Road for a 2:00pm kick-off. An away fixture against Malachians follows on Thursday 13th August, before local rivals Portaferry Rovers come to New Harbour Road on Thursday 20th August.

Portavogie Rangers FC are delighted to announce a donation of £330 to Portaferry RNLI, with the funds raised during our pre-season friendly against Dundonald FC ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Portavogie Rangers will advance directly to the second round of the 2026/27 Clearer Water Irish Cup after receiving a bye in the opening-round draw. The Irish Football Association confirmed that 126 clubs have entered this season’s competition. A total of 34 first-round ties will be played on Saturday 8 August, with Portavogie among 18 clubs handed a bye into the next stage.

Portavogie Rangers will begin their 2026/27 ToalsBet Steel & Sons Cup campaign with an away fixture against Dunmurry YM. The first-round tie is scheduled to take place on Saturday 15 August 2026, following confirmation of the draw by the County Antrim Football Association.

Portavogie Rangers FC were proud to present a donation of £430 to the Ulster Hospital Mental Health Unit, raised through our annual Boxing Day charity football match, which this year was held in memory of Rachel “Rae” Thompson, beloved aunt of James and David Cully.
