Portavogie Rangers are delighted to have William Armstrong continuing as part of the squad, with the defender bringing leadership, experience, and commitment to the club. A strong and dependable presence at the back, Willie is the type of player every team needs. His attitude, organisation, and willingness to lead by example have made him a respected figure within the dressing room and on the pitch. As club captain, he continues to set standards for those around him and represents the values we want associated with Portavogie Rangers. Since joining the club, Willie has brought real experience and quality to the Rangers defence. Whether through his communication, reading of the game, or commitment in defensive situations, he has shown himself to be a player who can be relied upon when it matters. His performances have also earned recognition within the club, including Player of the Month honours, showing the consistency and influence he has had in the team. Willie’s dedication to Portavogie Rangers is clear, and his decision to re-sign for the 2026/27 season is a major boost as we continue to build for the campaign ahead. We look forward to seeing Willie lead the side once again, contribute at the heart of the defence, and continue playing an important role both on and off the pitch for Portavogie Rangers.

Ben Adair is an experienced and committed forward who has made a significant contribution to Portavogie Rangers across five recorded seasons. Since 2021/22, Ben has made 132 appearances for the club, starting 97 times and completing more than 9,250 minutes. His 27 goals include an outstanding 13-goal return in 2023/24—his most prolific season to date, and reflect a player capable of delivering consistently in the final third. Ben’s value extends beyond the numbers. He has produced important goals in league and cup football, including in a Borough Cup final, and has earned Man of the Match recognition for his performances. Whether leading the line from the start or making an impact as the game develops, he brings experience, application and a genuine commitment to the team. A dependable member of the squad, Ben remains an important part of the Rangers group at New Harbour Road.

Portavogie Rangers are pleased to have Robbie Palmer as part of the squad, with the forward continuing to offer an important attacking option for the club. Robbie is a player who brings energy, commitment, and a real goal threat in the final third. His movement, work rate, and ability to get into scoring positions make him a valuable presence up front, and he has shown he can contribute when called upon. During the 2025/26 season, Robbie made a strong contribution for Portavogie Rangers II, finishing among the side’s leading league scorers with six goals. His efforts helped the team enjoy a competitive campaign in Division 3E, where the squad produced a positive season and showed real quality throughout. Having re-signed with the club for the 2026/27 season, Robbie will be looking to build on his performances and continue playing his part in the Rangers forward line. His attitude and commitment are exactly what we want to see from players representing Portavogie Rangers. We look forward to seeing Robbie continue to develop, contribute goals, and play an important role for the club in the season ahead.
